Fun with Letter F: Tracing, Finding, and Coloring Worksheet
Children ages 3-5 reinforce letter recognition and pencil control as they trace the letter F, search for it among other letters, and identify a picture starting with the F sound. Working through the same letter in multiple formats — writing, spotting, and sound-matching — helps move the letter from simple recognition toward automatic recall, an important pre-reading skill.

Letter Ee Worksheet: Trace, Find, and Color!
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This worksheet gives children ages 3-5 layered practice with the letter Ee — tracing it, finding it inside a word search grid, and identifying an elephant along with other pictures that start with the same sound. Repeating the letter across a tracing task, a visual search, and a picture-matching task in one sitting builds stronger, faster recognition than any single activity could alone.
An Family Word Worksheet: Read, Match, and Write!
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet builds on word-family recognition by focusing on 'an' words like can, fan, and man, helping children ages 4-6 see that swapping the first letter of a familiar ending creates a whole new word. Practicing this pattern strengthens decoding skills and builds reading confidence, since children start recognizing chunks of words rather than sounding out every single letter.
Learn to Read and Write the Sight Word 'Like' - Fun Worksheet for Kids!
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Children ages 3-5 build sight-word fluency with the word 'like,' a common word used to express preference, through tracing, coloring, a word search, and sentence reading. Because 'like' doesn't follow simple phonics rules and appears constantly in early books and everyday speech, repeated multi-format exposure like this worksheet provides is exactly how young readers commit it to memory.
Rhyming Words Worksheet: Fun with Sounds!
Ages 4-5 · Pre-KAges 4-5 · ReceptionAges 4-5 · LKGAges 4-5
This worksheet has children ages 4-5 look at paired pictures, say the words aloud, and write the word that rhymes with its partner, building phonological awareness by focusing on matching ending sounds rather than beginning ones. Recognizing rhymes is one of the strongest early predictors of later reading success, since it trains children's ears to notice and manipulate the sounds within words.
N-Z Alphabet Worksheet: Missing Letters and Picture Matching
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet continues alphabet mastery for children ages 4-6 by having them fill in missing letters from N to Z and match each one to a corresponding picture, extending the sequencing and picture-matching skills used in the first half of the alphabet into the second half. Completing both halves of the alphabet across companion worksheets like this builds full, confident recall of all 26 letters in order.
Over and Under Worksheet: Identifying Object Positions
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This worksheet strengthens children ages 3-5's understanding of the positional concepts 'over' and 'under' by having them study pictures and decide whether an object is positioned above or below another. Distinguishing over from under builds spatial reasoning and the positional vocabulary children need to follow multi-step directions at home and school.
Learn to Write the Sight Word 'I' Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This worksheet gives children ages 3-5 focused, repeated practice recognizing, tracing, and writing the sight word 'I,' one of the very first words most children learn to read and write since it appears constantly in their own speech. Because 'I' is a single letter that stands for a whole word, it's also a gentle introduction to the idea that capitalization carries meaning.
Napkin Folding Fun: Following Instructions Worksheet for Kids
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This activity builds sequential following-directions skills and fine motor control as children fold a napkin step by step into a new shape. Because each fold depends on the one before it, children practice holding a multi-step instruction in mind and executing it in order — a skill that transfers directly to following recipes, craft instructions, and classroom directions later on.

Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This worksheet gives children ages 3-5 focused practice forming the letter 's,' one of the trickier curved strokes for beginning writers to control with a pencil. Beyond handwriting, matching pictures to the letter and coloring only the 's' objects builds phonemic awareness by linking the letter shape to its /s/ sound at the start of words. This worksheet builds recognition and formation of the letter W through tracing, writing, and identifying words that begin with it, like 'watermelon' or 'whale.' Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This worksheet builds recognition and formation of the letter I, both uppercase and lowercase, through tracing practice and identifying pictures of words that start with I, like 'igloo' or 'insect.' For three- to five-year-olds, uppercase I is one of the simplest letter shapes to form, making it a good confidence-building letter even as lowercase i, with its added dot, introduces a slightly trickier two-part stroke.
Trace the Letter H Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Tracing the capital letter H gives children ages 3-5 focused practice in pencil control, directional tracking (top to bottom, left to right), and the specific line-and-line motion that forms H's two verticals and one horizontal bar. Pairing the tracing with pictures that start with H also strengthens letter-sound association, an essential early step toward decoding words later on.
