Months of the Year Cut and Paste Worksheet for Preschoolers
Learning the twelve months in order gives children ages 3-5 an early framework for understanding calendars, seasons, and the passage of time, concepts that are quite abstract at this age without a hands-on anchor. How to use this worksheet
Say the months of the year together in order a few times before starting, so your child has the sequence fresh in mind. Have your child cut out each month card at the bottom of the page along the dotted lines. Working left to right, help them figure out which month comes next and paste it onto the correct train car. Once all twelve are glued in place, read through the completed train together from January to December.
