How to use this worksheet
Look at the picture together and identify the main reference point, like a house or a tree, that distance will be measured from. Read the instructions aloud so your child understands whether they are connecting objects that are near or objects that are far from that reference point. Have your child use a pencil to draw a straight line connecting each correct pair as directed. Review the completed lines together, asking your child to explain why each object is near or far.
