How to use this worksheet
Have your child count the full group of objects in the first picture and say the total number out loud. Point out the smaller number showing how many to take away, and ask them to cross out or cover that many objects with a finger. Guide them to count what remains uncrossed to find the answer, then write that number in the blank space provided. Repeat this same count-cross out-count process for each subtraction problem on the page.
