How to use this worksheet
Point to the letter Q and explain that it's almost always followed by the letter U when used in a word, then have your child trace the dotted Q with a pencil while saying its sound aloud. Move to the picture section, where your child names each image, decides if it starts with the Qu sound, and colors those pictures in. Finish by having your child trace the letter Q several more times on the practice lines provided, building repetition. Review the completed page together, reinforcing both the letter shape and its distinctive sound.
