How to use this worksheet
Start by pointing to the reference line or object in the picture and asking your child what 'above' and 'below' mean using that picture as the example. Go through the scene item by item, asking 'Is this one above or below?' before they mark it. Have them place a tick (✓) next to everything positioned above and a cross (X) next to everything positioned below, checking each object once so none gets skipped or marked twice. When the page is finished, ask them to point out one 'above' object and one 'below' object and explain their choice in their own words.
