How to use this worksheet
First, ask your child to point to every diamond on the page and say 'diamond' each time, ignoring any other shapes mixed in. Then count the diamonds together aloud, touching each one only once, and write or say the total. For the matching part, help your child compare pairs of diamonds by size or color and draw a line connecting the two that match. Finish by coloring all the diamonds the same color to reinforce the shape category.
