Shape Matching Worksheet for Preschoolers
This worksheet helps children ages 3-5 practice recognizing basic geometric shapes by connecting each shape outline to the everyday object it resembles. How to use this worksheet
Begin by naming each shape on the left side of the page together, such as square, circle, and triangle. Look at the objects pictured on the right side and discuss which shape each one most resembles. Have your child draw a line connecting each shape to its matching object using a pencil or crayon. Once every pair is connected, review the page together and ask your child to point out one more object at home shaped like each shape.
