Easter Egg Color Code Worksheet for Preschoolers
Matching numbers on each Easter egg section to a color key builds number recognition and color-word association in children ages 3-5, since they must hold both a numeral and its assigned color in mind while coloring. How to use this worksheet
Look at the color code at the bottom of the page together and read each number-to-color pairing aloud so your child knows what to expect. Have your child find a numbered section on the first egg, say the number out loud, and match it to the correct color in the key. Color that section with the matching crayon, then move to the next numbered section on the same egg, checking the key again each time. Continue egg by egg until every numbered section on the page has been colored according to the code.
