How to use this worksheet
Trace the dotted W with a finger first, counting the four diagonal strokes out loud (down, up, down, up) so your child feels the rhythm before picking up a pencil. Have them trace the dotted letters on the page, pausing briefly at each point where the direction changes. Let them practice writing W independently on the lines below once the guided tracing feels comfortable. Close by naming a few W words together, like whale or watermelon.
