How to use this worksheet
Look at the pattern in the first row together and say it out loud, 'circle, square, circle, square,' so your child hears the repeating rule before deciding what comes next. Show them the answer choices next to the pattern and ask which shape logically continues the sequence. Have your child color the circle next to the correct answer choice, checking that it truly matches the established pattern. Repeat this process for each row on the page, encouraging your child to say the pattern aloud before choosing each time.
