How to use this worksheet
Point out the sledge at the top of the line and the snowman waiting at the bottom, explaining that the line shows the sledge's path downhill. Have your child trace the dotted diagonal line with a pencil or crayon, moving from the sledge to the snowman in one smooth motion if possible. Let them repeat any line that comes out shaky before moving to the next one. Finish by coloring the winter scene once every path is traced.

- 1Set up a ramp with a book or board and slide a small toy down it to mimic the sledge's diagonal path.
- 2Draw a diagonal line with chalk outside and have your child walk heel-to-toe along it.

- 4Make cotton ball snowmen and glue them along a diagonal line drawn on paper.
