How to use this worksheet
Look at the first picture together and say its name slowly and clearly, stretching out the beginning sound, such as 'mmm-oon' for moon. Ask your child which letter makes that sound, then have them write the lowercase letter in the blank space beneath the picture. Repeat this process for each picture on the page, encouraging your child to say the word aloud before writing every time rather than guessing silently. Check each answer together once the page is complete, and have them re-say any word where the letter doesn't match.
