How to use this worksheet
Have your child count the pictures in the first group and say the total out loud, then repeat for the second group. Ask them to think about which group has more, which has fewer, or whether the groups are equal. Have them write the correct symbol (<, >, or =) in the circle between the two groups, remembering that the wider, open side of the symbol points toward the bigger number. Repeat for each pair of groups on the page, checking their reasoning together.
