How to use this worksheet
Look at the first addition problem together and count the objects in the first group aloud, then count the objects in the second group. Ask your child to count all the objects together, from both groups combined, to find the total, and have them write that number in the answer box. Repeat this process for each problem on the page, encouraging your child to touch each picture as they count to avoid skipping or double-counting. Once finished, read through the completed number sentences together, like '3 plus 2 equals 5,' to reinforce the math vocabulary.
