How to use this worksheet
Have your child count the objects in the first group aloud, touching each one, and then do the same for the second group. Ask them to say out loud which group has more, which has fewer, or whether the groups are equal. Show them the three symbol choices and have them circle the one that correctly describes the comparison between the two counted groups. Repeat this process for each pair of groups on the page, encouraging your child to explain their reasoning aloud each time.
