How to use this worksheet
Look at the first picture together and say its name slowly, stretching out the very first sound so your child can hear it clearly. Ask your child what letter makes that sound and have them write it in the blank space provided. Once the letter is written, have your child say the full word out loud again to confirm it sounds right with that beginning sound. Continue through each picture on the page, encouraging your child to sound out tricky words slowly before writing.
