How to use this worksheet
Look at the picture of the steps or staircase together, pointing out which direction is 'up' and which is 'down'. Have your child count the steps going up first, pointing to each one aloud, then write that total in the box provided. Repeat the process counting the steps going down, again writing the number in its designated box. Finish by discussing which direction had more or fewer steps, if applicable.
