How to use this worksheet
Look at the pictures on the page together and say each one's name aloud slowly, listening for its beginning sound. Remind your child which color represents each letter — blue for words starting with 'Y' and red for words starting with 'N' — before they begin. Have them color each picture according to its beginning sound, checking in with you if they're unsure of a word's name. Once finished, review the page together, sorting the blue and red pictures into two separate spoken lists.
