Preschool Phonics Worksheets (Ages 3–4)
Preschool phonics worksheets are practice sheets for children aged 3–4 in Preschool in the US. Phonics is the practice of connecting letters to the sounds they represent, then blending those sounds together to decode and read words. The sheets on this page cover letter-sound correspondence, blending sounds into words, segmenting words into sounds and digraphs and consonant blends.
Preschool builds readiness rather than academics: pre-writing strokes, uppercase letter recognition, counting objects to ten, naming shapes and colors, and cutting along a line, all introduced through short table activities inside a mostly play-based day.
